Krzysztof Bolesta is an appointed official of the European Commission, where he worked from 2004 to 2012 and from 2020 to 2024.

From 2000 to 2004, he supported the accession negotiations and Poland's adaptation to EU requirements in the areas of 'energy' and 'research and development'.

Between 2012 and 2015, he was a member of the political cabinet of two Polish Ministers of the Environment and a member of the supervisory board of the provincial branch of the National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management in Lublin. He was involved in the negotiation regarding the second European energy and climate change package. In addition, he served as an advisor to the President COP19 (United Nations Climate Change Conference). 

From 2016 to 2018, he was a research director at the Policy Insight think tank. Moreover, he co-founded the NGO, the Foundation for the Promotion of Electric Vehicles, where he served as vice-president from 2018 to 2020.

In 2014, the President of the Republic of Poland awarded him the Silver Cross for services to strengthen and develop European integration.

Marcin Błesznowski, PhD, Eng., employed as an assistant professor at the Institute of Power Engineering – National Research Institute (IEN–PIB), at the Hydrogen Technology Center (CTH2) and the Department of High-Temperature Electrochemical Processes, is a graduate of the Faculty of Chemical and Process Engineering at the Warsaw University of Technology and a representative of IEN–PIB in Hydrogen Europe Research and the European Energy Research Alliance (EERA) in the field of fuel cells and hydrogen technologies.
He has been involved in the field of solid oxide electrochemical cells for over 18 years. He is the author/co-author of dozens of articles, expert opinions, and studies for industry. As a team member or project manager, he has carried out research on numerical modeling (NCN, NCBR, 6FP, 7FP), experimental campaigns (NCBR, H2020, ERA-NET), and application issues in the field of stacks and installations with SOFC cells (NCBR, MNiSW). He is a winner of the Siemens Award and scholarships for R&D activities: a scholarship from the Minister of Education and Science for outstanding young scientists, DAAD, a scholarship for doctoral students from Mazovia, BRISK2. In addition to his scientific and technical activities, he is also involved in work aimed at assessing the potential and cost of implementing the hydrogen economy concept in Poland (Horizon Europe, NCBR, NFOŚiGW, Sectoral Agreement for the Development of the Hydrogen Economy in Poland).

Narimane is advancing Fortum's hydrogen strategy in the Nordics with key initiatives like the Kalla pilot plant. With a robust background in corporate public affairs and deep expertise in policy, funding, and regulatory developments, she brings invaluable insights into the evolving clean hydrogen landscape.

Dr. Kush Chadha is the Chief Scientific Officer at PowerUP Energy Technologies in Tallinn, Estonia. With a PhD in Energy Management from the University of Poitiers and Scrum certification, he specializes in hydrogen fuel cell stack development and the green energy transition. His extensive background spans mechanical engineering, computational fluid dynamics, and European Commission fuel cell testing. Beyond his drive to advance sustainable life-mobility, Kush enjoys photography. 

M. Dudek is employed at AGH University of Krakow, Faculty of Energy and Fuels. She is engaged in teaching and research in the interdisciplinary fields of energy efficiency, integrated power sources involving renewable energy, hydrogen technologies, fuel cells and electrochemical devices. M. Dudek is the author or co-author of over 100 scientific and technical papers. She is included in the top 2% of research scientists on the Elsevier and Stanford University lists. She also holds ten patents in these area M.Dudek's contributions to industrial cooperation have been recognised with special awards at international and Polish exhibitions. She   is active in international scientific and educational collaborations in the field of fuel and energy transformation.  She has also been a plenary speaker and invited speaker at international interdisciplinary conferences and panels

In 2025, he assumed the position of Director of the Infrastructure Division at EUROPOL GAZ SA, a company belonging to the ORLEN Group. He is responsible for development directions and activities related to the optimization of infrastructure operation.

He worked at GAZ-SYSTEM SA, responsible for analytics and developing areas supporting the creation of long-term strategies and defining new areas of development for the company. In 2024, he developed the assumptions for the Hydrogen Map of Poland and prepared reports and analyses regarding the development directions of the hydrogen market in Poland. He actively participates in the Hydrogen Agreement – ​​first as Deputy Coordinator for Hydrogen Production, and currently as Coordinator of the Transmission, Distribution, and Storage Group at the Ministry of Climate and Environment.

From 2009 to 2015, he worked in Business Development at Vattenfall Heat Poland, and later at PGNiG Termika, analysing energy markets, developing new investment projects, and exploring technology transfer opportunities.

As a graduate of Materials Science and Engineering at the Warsaw University of Technology, he began his career in the field of innovative solutions and technologies at the Innovation Centre FIRE, verifying and identifying the best possible businesses in the renewable energy and transport sectors, among others.

Tomasz Fafiński is focused on GE Aerospace advanced technology programs, identifying external funding opportunities, partnerships and building relationships with research institutions, government agencies & funding organizations. By advocating sustainable aviation technologies, he contributes to shaping the future funding streams & research & development (R&D) agendas. He is representative in the Steering Committees of several Clean Aviation projects, the European Partnership leading research and innovation programme for transforming aviation towards a sustainable future. He is a part of the core working groups of Association of Polish Aviation Industry (APAI) and Civil Aerospace Research Comitee (CARC) within ASD elaborating on development and growth of the aerospace industry in Poland and in EU.

Tomasz graduated from the Military University of Technology with a Master of Science in Aviation Engineering. He also completed postgraduate studies in Intellectual Property Law at the University of Warsaw.

Born in South Africa, Manuel Fonseca is PRF´s Business Developer for Europe, a Portuguese engineering company.

After studying Mechanical Engineering at the University of Coimbra and Marketing & Communication in the Polytechnic Institute of Viseu, Manuel Fonseca developed his activity in the gas downstream sector in Portugal and Europe, focused in LNG small scale, biogas and hydrogen, looking for solutions in partnership with clients.

Manuel believes that the fight against Climate Change takes place in national and international political decision-making bodies and in companies, but also in the daily lives of all citizens. Anyone can, and should, be an agent of change at home, on the street or at work, with small gestures that, multiplied by millions and millions of people, become a veritable wave of energy with a positive impact.

Marcin Gielniewski is a Transformation Strategist at Microsoft, supporting organizations in leveraging cloud, artificial intelligence and data to drive digital transformation. He has over 25 years of experience in the IT and technology sector. His expertise includes digital transformation, cybersecurity, data analytics and cloud adoption across large enterprises and the public sector. In his work, he focuses on aligning technology with business strategy, helping organizations build innovative, scalable and secure digital environments.

Co-founder and president of the board of CCUS Poland Association, an organization working to develop carbon capture, utilization, and storage (CCUS) technologies in Poland. The association brings together representatives of science, industry, administration, and non-governmental organizations, creating a platform for cooperation and dialogue on energy transition and decarbonization of the economy.

Paweł Gładysz is also an assistant professor at the Faculty of Energy and Fuels and a research project manager at the Energy Center of the AGH University of Science and Technology in Krakow. For many years, he has been involved in thermal engineering, modeling, and optimization of energy processes, with a particular focus on CCUS technology and cogeneration systems. His work also includes life cycle assessments (LCA), techno-economic evaluations, and energy policy issues.

In 2021–2024, he led the CCUS.pl project, which developed a strategic roadmap for CCUS implementation in Poland, and chaired the Polish-Norwegian CCS Network, which supports international cooperation and knowledge exchange in this field.

Torsten Göhler has been Deputy Consul General at the German Consulate General in Wroclaw since September 2023. He was previously i.a. Deputy Head of Mission at the German Embassy in Tashkent and San José (Costa Rica). Also he served as Desk Officer for Economic Affairs in Rome and in the German Team preparing Amsterdam treaty.

Torsten Göhler started working for the Federal Foreign Office after finishing studies in German Literature and Linugistics.

Martin Hubeňák lives in Starý Jičín (close to the borders with Poland and Slovakia), Czech Republic.

He obtained a bachelor’s in Management and Economy, Business School Ostrava. He has been active in the logistics sector ever since.

Marko Janhunen is currently Vice President Public Affairs at Gasgrid Finland, the transmission system operator responsible for gas transmission, the transmission system in Finland, and the builder of the national hydrogen infrastructure.

Marko is an expert in public policy issues related to environment and energy, climate change and green transformation topics with over 25 years of experience in European Union affairs.
Marko is in the board of directors of Hydrogen Cluster Finland, a coalition of over 80 companies that promote hydrogen economy in Finland and in the EU. He also chairs the regulatory affairs committee of the Hydrogen Cluster Finland. Marko is frequent speaker at various events, seminars and conferences on sustainable development, green transition and the hydrogen economy.

Marko holds a master’s degree in political history issued by the University of Helsinki, a Masters in European Affairs from the College of Europe in Bruges, Belgium, and an Executive MBA from the Helsinki School of Economics. He speaks Finnish, English, Swedish, German and French.

Jatta Jussila’s heart beats for sustainable innovation. She is CEO of CLIC Innovation Ltd, a Finnish open innovation cluster driving systemic breakthroughs in the bioeconomy, circular economy and energy systems. She also coordinates the BalticSeaH2 Hydrogen Valley project, advancing an integrated, cross-border hydrogen economy in Northern Europe and strengthening Europe’s industrial competitiveness. With over 30 years of experience in cross-industry collaboration and public–private partnerships, she has led more than 10 major R&I programmes (€20–100M). She is an expert in renewable energy and emission control and holds a PhD in chemical engineering.

Engineer, habilitated doctor of engineering and technical sciences. Expert in the field of environmental protection and natural resources as well as water and wastewater management and energy. In 2000 he graduated from the Faculty of Civil Engineering, Mechanics and Petrochemistry. Graduate of postgraduate studies in the fields of Financial Management Marketing, Project Management, Energy Audit, Gas Turbines and Gas-Steam Systems, Process Safety. He also completed MBA studies. He holds full construction licenses in the field of design and management of works as well as energy qualifications in the field of operation and supervision.

In the years 2000–2014 he worked at the Warsaw University of Technology, where he dealt with scientific research concerning environmental protection and studies for the refining and petrochemical industry constituting the basis for opinions and expert reports as well as educating youth. He is the author and co-author of over 100 scientific articles and publications.

From September 2009 to August 2018 he served as Director of the Environmental Protection Office of PKN ORLEN. In the years 2018–2022, as an expert in the area of the Member of the Management Board for Operational Affairs, then Operations Director, Director of Research and Development of Alternative Energy Sources and currently as Executive Director in the area of Environment.

He serves as President of the SITPChem Association (Association of Engineers and Technicians of the Chemical Industry) Płock branch and is a Member of the Main Board of SITPChem, is a member of the Mazovian Chamber of Civil Engineers and the Polish Chamber of Civil Engineers. Appointed by the Minister to the Council of Construction Products. He served as Alternate Director in The European Petroleum Industry Association. Member of the Chapter of the Responsible Care Program, Member of the Council of the Polish Chamber of Chemical Industry. He is the Chairman of the Coordinating Council of the Mazovian Hydrogen Valley Cluster.

Winner of awards, among others: Rector of the Warsaw University of Technology for scientific achievements, in the competition of the President of the City of Płock Award “Diploma for Płock”, distinction in the competition “Golden Engineer” in the category science and in the category Management, “Golden badge meritorious for Construction”, laureate of the Medal of the National Education Commission. In 2022 and in 2023 he received a distinction from the Ministry of Climate and Environment for engagement in works for the implementation of the sectoral agreement for the development of the hydrogen economy. Kimmo Karhu is Assistant Professor in Strategic Management of Technology and Innovation at the Department of Industrial Engineering and Management at Aalto University. Kimmo’s research focuses on digitalization, platform economy, and mathematical modeling of related market dynamics. His research has been published in top-tier journals such as Information Systems Research, Academy of Management Perspectives, Long Range Planning, and Technological Forecasting and Social Change. Beyond research, Kimmo has over ten years of business experience and is closely involved with practice through research projects, executive, and professional education teaching.

Engineer and project manager with experience in energy, automation, and industrial transformation.

From 2013 to 2018, he co-owned the Business Purchasing Group, developing a group purchasing model for SMEs. At ABB (2014-2019), he implemented I&C projects, including at the PGNiG Termika CHP Siekierki, PGE CHP GT 50 Toruń, and Fortum CHP Zabrze CHP plants, where, as Site Manager, he was responsible for automation installations. He also supervised the installation of automation systems for the flue gas desulfurization plant at PCC Rokita.

At Veolia (2019-2021), he implemented telemetry systems, SZARP, and CHP plant automation and modernization projects as a Project Manager. At PORR (2021-2023), he managed automation projects and provided technical advice on the expansion of the LNG terminal (I&C, gas and fire detection systems, and telecommunications).

At KGHM (2022-2024), he led decarbonization projects. Since 2024, he has been the Director of Sustainable Development at Cement Ożarów S.A.

Dr. Paweł Kluczyński is a physicist and expert in the field of laser spectroscopy. He obtained his master's degree in physics in 1997 and his doctorate in 2002, specializing in tuned laser spectroscopy techniques. Since the beginning of his scientific career, he has been conducting research on precise gas measurement methods, developing proprietary signal processing and data analysis algorithms.

Between 2001 and 2010, he developed tuned gas analyzer technologies at Siemens, gaining experience in the implementation of advanced industrial solutions.

In 2010, he co-founded Airoptic, where he has served as CEO since its inception. Under his leadership, the company develops innovative laser measurement systems used in industry on international markets and participates in research and implementation projects combining science with practical business applications.

Prof. Dr.-Ing. habil. Przemysław Komarnicki is a professor and expert in the field of electrical power systems. He has over 20 years of experience in the integration and development of technologies for energy transformation. He graduated from Otto-von-Guericke-Universität Magdeburg and Wrocław University of Technology, where he obtained his habilitation, among other degrees.

Since 2018, he has been a professor at Hochschule Magdeburg-Stendal, and since 2021, a professor at Wrocław University of Technology. He has been associated with Fraunhofer IFF and energy companies in Poland. He is the author of over 150 publications, a member of many international bodies such as IEEE and CIGRE, and the manager of numerous international projects.

He graduated from the Warsaw School of Economics with a degree in Finance and Banking. He holds a PhD in Technical Sciences from the Wrocław University of Science and Technology. Damian Dominik Kozłowski has been working in the IT industry for over 24 years, where he develops and coordinates IT and cybersecurity projects. He participated in the implementation of the ISO 27001 information security management system at one of the country’s leading energy suppliers. He is a certified lead auditor for the Information Security Management System (ISMS) according to PN-EN ISO/IEC 27001:2023-08 and holds certifications for ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, and ISO 45001:2018. A graduate of Nicolaus Copernicus University and postgraduate studies at the Poznań University of Economics. He graduated with honors from the fifth cohort of the MBA program in cybersecurity management at the Faculty of Cybernetics of the Military University of Technology. A trainer and consultant supporting organizations in building resilience to digital threats. Author of a chapter on the NIS2 Directive in a monograph by the Military University of Technology (2025).

As a Lead Auditor for ISO/IEC 27001, he carries out audit and consultancy projects for clients in the energy, manufacturing and critical infrastructure sectors, supporting organisations in the design, implementation and improvement of information security management systems, particularly in OT and ICS environments. He specialises in aligning the requirements of standards, regulations and best practices with the operational realities of industrial facilities, focusing on practical, scalable and measurable solutions.

He is a member of ISSA Poland and a Senior Member of ISA (International Society of Automation), actively participating in the development and promotion of standards and best practices in the field of industrial cybersecurity.

He is responsible for managing a portfolio of hydrogen projects in Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Lithuania. He is involved in international hydrogen projects with partners from Scandinavia. Wojciech also serves as the Roadmap Leader for Hydrogen Valleys at Hydrogen Europe (2nd term).

He is the initiator and coordinator of the Amber Hydrogen Valley project in Pomerania, which aims, among other things, to introduce hydrogen as a fuel in seaports.

In 2020-2022, Wojciech served as Project Manager for LOTOS Green H2, a 100 MW electrolyser producing renewable hydrogen for the decarbonisation of the Gdańsk refinery (project co-financed by BGK in 2025).
From January 2018 to March 2020, Wojciech was Director of the Innovation Department at LOTOS Lab, where he was responsible for managing the innovation area and co-created a portfolio of innovative projects in the field of alternative fuels, hydrogen and energy storage.

Before joining the LOTOS Group, he worked for 10 years at leading consulting firms, including EY and PwC. Wojciech is a graduate of the AGH University of Science and Technology in Krakow. He also holds an Executive MBA from the Kozminski University in Warsaw.

Leszek Lankof holds a D.Sc. in Engineering and Technology, specializing in environmental engineering, mining, and energy. His research focuses on advanced energy storage—including hydrogen, natural gas, and compressed air—within salt caverns and deep aquifers. He also specializes in the feasibility of deep geological disposal for radioactive waste and spent nuclear fuel. A widely published researcher in journals such as Applied Energy and Renewable and Sustainable Energy Reviews, he is actively involved in national and EU projects. He bridges the gap between academia and industry through the delivery of expert scientific consultancy and strategic technical reports.

He completed the binational bachelor’s and master’s program "Production and Automation (international)" at EPF École d'Ingénieurs Sceaux (Grande École) and Munich University of Applied Sciences, earning a Diplôme d’Ingénieurs and Master of Engineering.

As a Research Scientist in the Testing Technology and Automation department at Fraunhofer IWU Chemnitz, he is pursuing a PhD focused on monitoring fuel cell systems. He collaborates with leading partners such as INTERCARAT SARL, EOLIE SARL, Siemens Digital Factory, and Automation W+R GmbH.

Leads innovative projects such as GreenBotAI, which focuses on frugal and adaptive AI for flexible industrial robotics; HZwo-Inspect, a modular testing kit for fuel cells and electrolysers; DigiTwin, a scalable solution for creating digital twins of PEM fuel cells and electrolysers; and HyReCo, which aims to reduce costs associated with AEM electrolysis. Antti Lukkari focuses on hydrogen economy development and new energy system initiatives at ABB Finland. He currently leads ABB’s activities in BalticSeaH2, Europe’s largest cross-border hydrogen valley, and coordinates work packages on hydrogen end use cases and sector integration. He also works on the five-year H2 Springboard program, aimed at accelerating the scaling, industrialization, and commercialization of hydrogen technologies in Finland. Piotr Patrosz has been working as a Research and Development Engineer at Rockfin S.A. since 2023, where he is involved in the design and research of hydrogen systems for the HyVentive product line. Erkka Saario oversees the development of Gasgrid’s extensive portfolio of large-scale hydrogen infrastructure projects, which encompasses three cross-border PCI projects and the Finnish trunklines. These projects are developed in collaboration with our esteemed consortium partners. Saario has been part of Gasgrid for approximately two years. His career spans over two decades, during which he has focused on developing and investing in renewable energy projects across Finland. Additionally, he serves as a Board member of Finnish Renewables.

Dr.Ing Gert Schlegel is a mechanical engineer and head of network and member management with many years of experience in the fields of printing, media, and lightweight construction technologies.

After completing his studies in mechanical engineering at the Technical University of Chemnitz, including a semester at ETH Zurich, he received his Diplom-Ingenieur degree in 2003 and his doctorate (Dr.-Ing., magna cum laude) in 2009.

He is Founder and Senior Consultant at Framkraft AB, a Swedish advisory firm contributing to the green transition with focus on hydrogen market development and cross-border cooperation in the Baltic Sea Region, particularly between Sweden and Poland. He previously worked at the Swedish national hydrogen association Vätgas Sverige, contributing to strategic hydrogen initiatives. With over 20 years of leadership experience from the Swedish automotive industry, he combines industrial transformation expertise with policy and market insight. He is also a co-initiator of the Baltic Sea Region Hydrogen Council.

Waldemar Skomudek – Professor, PhD, DSc, Eng., has many years of experience in the power industry and at the university. He completed, among others, Polish-Austrian management studies in the field of modern financial management methods and modern business management techniques. For many years he held management positions in domestic electricity distribution and transmission companies. He participated in the establishment of the EnergiaPro Koncern Energetyczny S.A. and TAURON S.A. capital groups, as well as in the separation of the Distribution System Operator from the structures of Koncern Energetyczny EnergiaPro. For two terms he served as dean of one of the faculties at the Opole University of Technology. He is currently a researcher at the AGH University of Science and Technology in Kraków. His main areas of interest include the functioning of the electricity market, the management of large projects, innovations in the energy sector, and the stability of the National Power System. He is the author or co-author of over 230 publications and a member of numerous professional organizations, both domestic and international.

Aivars Starikovs is a member of the board of Hydrogen Europe. He is also a member of the board of the Latvian Hydrogen Association and an advisor on energy and alternative fuels to the president of the Latvian Academy of Sciences. His current responsibilities include coordinating international cooperation, working with relevant ministries and municipal authorities, developing and implementing an infrastructure business plan, and ensuring excellence in research, development, and management.

Currently, as the coordinator of the North-East European cluster, he is involved in developing joint public procurement activities for fuel cell buses, which stimulates business cases and the continued implementation of zero-emission hydrogen transport. Previously, he was the coordinator of the national priority research program "Innovative technologies for energy production and the use of low carbon guarantees through renewable energy, support measures for mitigating environmental and climate degradation – LATENERGI" in the field of hydrogen technology assessment in stationary and mobile applications in Latvia. A physicist with a master's degree in international economics and management from the University of Latvia, he has experience in biomass gasification in thermochemical and pyrolytic reactors.

He has published a number of reports on the use of biomass and natural gas in ICE, CHP, and fuel cell technologies, including a feasibility assessment of biomass and biogas cogeneration plants in Latvia and other European countries. To continue his professional development, he is currently studying engineering at the University of Natural Sciences and Technology in Latvia.

Since July 1, 2025, she has served as Director of the European Commission’s Regional Representation in Poland. She has many years of experience working with international organizations, EU institutions, and government bodies. In the past, she represented the European Commission in international negotiations and worked on legislative proposals. She also held strategic positions in EU institutions, including leading communication and policy efforts in the areas of the digital society, the protection of minors, gender equality, and international statistics. In recent years, she served as Head of Policy Coordination for the European Atomic Energy Community (Euratom) and Interinstitutional Relations at the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Energy.

She holds a Master of Engineering degree from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering at Poznań University of Technology. In addition, she completed postgraduate studies in modern power electronics systems for DC power supply systems in the energy sector at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering of the Institute of Control and Electronics at the Warsaw University of Technology. Furthermore, she completed postgraduate studies in
economic analysis and controlling at the Faculty of Management of the Academy of Economics in Poznań, and postgraduate studies in team management at the West Pomeranian Business School in Szczecin. She also passed the examination for candidates for membership of Supervisory Boards in state-owned companies
before the examination board appointed by the Minister of the Treasury.

She has been associated with the energy sector since 1987. She began her professional career as an engineer responsible for the preparation of telemechanics works. She subsequently held managerial positions, supervising, amongst other things, the operation of HV and MV power equipment, power automation
systems, telemechanics equipment and communications systems.

In January 2014, she became Director of the Traffic Management Department at Enea Operator.

She is responsible for preparing the National Ten-Year Development Plan. She implements processes related to the handling of operator services (transmission, regasification, offering capacity on the GSA capacity reservation platform).

Michał Tarka – a lawyer with nearly 20 years of experience, specializing in the energy, fuels, and renewable energy sectors in Poland and across the EU. He advises on strategic projects and the development of renewable energy businesses. Founder and Director General of the Polish Biomethane Organization, and Head of its Brussels office. He has developed low-emission economy concepts for major energy-intensive industries. Active in the renewable energy sector since 2009. Recipient of industry awards and consistently recommended in rankings (including Legal 500 and Rzeczpospolita). A frequent speaker at international conferences and co-author of a commentary on the Renewable Energy Sources Act (C.H. Beck). Since 2025, he has been developing the operations of the capWatt group in Poland.

Matteo Testi received his Master's degree in Material science at Cà Foscari in Venice (2012) and his PhD in Physics at the University of Trento in 2017.

He is Head of the HYRES unit at FBK (2017–Ongoing), working on several points of the hydrogen supply chain and serving as Roadmap leader for RM08 (key distribution technologies, compression, purification, and metering) in Hydrogen Europe Research. His research topics include Hydrogen, Fuel Cells, and electrolysers based on ionic exchange membranes and Solid-Oxide Cells.

Robert Tomaszewski, director of the Strategy Department at PSE since 2025. Between 2013 and 2024, an analyst and head of the energy department at Polityka Insight. He is a graduate of the University of Warsaw's International Relations programme and completed postgraduate studies in energy market operations at the Warsaw School of Economics.

Passionate about modern technologies, he has been professionally involved in the energy industry for more than a dozen years. At Rockfin, he is responsible for the development of the HyVentive brand, which includes innovative devices and systems for the production, storage and use of hydrogen.

He holds degrees in Electrical Engineering and Automation, Management and Economics, and an MBA in Hydrogen Technology Management. Dr Martin Ufert has more than 12 years of experience in the engineering of electric transportation systems and alternative drive technologies.

At Fraunhofer IVI (Germany), he leads a team specialising in the development of systems, components, and software solutions for battery-electric and hydrogen fuel cell drives for buses and commercial vehicles. His work focuses on bridging research and real-world application, supporting transport operators with feasibility studies, fleet transition strategies, and the practical rollout of electric and hydrogen vehicles.

Suvi Veräjänkorva is a business development manager with 20+ working experience focused on overall business and technical concept development with partnership and collaboration. She works as development manager at Gasgrid, which is Finnish Transmission System Operator for gas and developing the hydrogen transmission network in Finland with cross-border connections.

After graduating from the TU Bergakademie Freiberg with a master’s degree in materials engineering, Frederik Wewetzer initially worked for the still heavily ICE-oriented, German automotive supplier industry. In accordance with his academic background, he was responsible for materials and supplier development before being appointed to Business Development with focus on hydrogen and smart materials at the end of 2019. To be able to devote himself full-time to alternative drives and mobility concepts, Frederik Wewetzer moved to the National Organisation Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Technology (NOW GmbH) in April 2022 and was responsible for the Hydrogen Innovation and Technology Center as well as R&D projects regarding alternative drives in rail transport within the framework of NIP II funding program. In October 2023, he joined HZwo e .V. as Technical Advisor for the Saxon Hydrogen Competence Center, operating as the central point of contact for citizens, local authorities, the media, industry and science for all questions relating to hydrogen production, transport, storage and application. Since April 2025, he has also been responsible for the Research and Transfer center of the Hydrogen Innovation Center (HIC).

Marcin Wołejko holds a master's degree and doctorate from Gdańsk University of Technology, Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Automation, as well as a postgraduate degree in nuclear energy from the same university.

He has over 28 years of experience in the energy industry, electrical engineering, industrial automation, and industrial plant maintenance.

Since 2009, he has been associated with the Office of Technical Inspection (UDT) — first as a pressure equipment inspector, then as an expert in nuclear energy development, a UDT-CERT expert, a management systems auditor (ISO/PSM/RBI), and a lecturer at the UDT Academy.

Since 2015, he has been API 580 Risk Based Inspection certified. He has participated in numerous energy, chemical, petrochemical, and industrial projects.

Since 2011, he has been involved in activities related to nuclear energy, and since 2023, he has been focusing on the preparation and implementation of processes in this area at UDT, including the licensing of nuclear energy equipment manufacturers and cooperation with technology suppliers and domestic companies.

He is also a representative of the UDT in OECD/NEA working groups in the area of operational experience (WGOE/EGOE).

He is the author or co-author of many domestic and foreign scientific publications and several articles published in the Inspektor magazine and other publications cooperating with the UDT.

He has completed specialist training courses, including On the Job Training at the US NRC (over 10 weeks, including at the Vogtle 3 & 4 power plant), training on the BWRX-300 reactor at GE Hitachi Nuclear Energy, and ASME NQA-1 Lead Auditor Training.

Since joining Sungrow Hydrogen in 2021, he participated in the R&D, promotion, and application of the flexible hydrogen production system solutions, integrating advanced technologies such as ALK/PEM electrolyzers and intelligent hydrogen management systems for large-scale renewable energy projects. As European Regional Director, he drives Sungrow Hydrogen's market expansion, overseeing strategic sales and decarbonization initiatives.
